Where we all linger in the dust.
Where we dress up, in our best,
Before the choir singing of trust.
Welcome to this nightmare;
Where that is yours, and this is mine.
Where door knobs are entwined with thorns.
And mother scorns,
The children hiding in their heads.
Welcome to this hell;
Where daddy lives in another town.
And there are ghosts in this house
Who laugh at us,
And bang on all the walls.
Welcome to HER NIGHTMARE;
Where blinds bind us in this little room,
Where our reflections all look the same,
Where dream catchers are just knotted strings,
And the clock always says three.

Grey Silence: chapter II I rouse from a sleep within a sleep, with this weight of detestation and longing. I found myself among a familiar street, under a lamp post met by a starry sky. This rage for God and those demons of heaven filled my lungs, forming a scream that escaped my lips, "Aa-ngels! Mute Aa-ngels!" I cried out to the silent shadows of midnight, "Speak! Speak! The sky spins and sways to my shaking limbs. I loath this form which I am confined. I hate this cruel God before me, this being that finds deceiving me to be so compelling.
